All of you clickers are awesome. (See previous two posts re: clicking to rearrange Google ordering). BUT, I believe that Google is onto us. Some of my stories moved up ... including the wrong one. So maybe that wasn't the best idea. Though you all rock very, very hard for trying to help.
You all still get lots of karma points. And, you know, if anyone has a problem with that story, which is really the point of all this, they can ... whatever. I love the girl in the story. I love the story. It's rough and there's a lot I would change about it now, but it was my first and you always remember your first ... I love Word Riot for publishing it. I love that my first submission ever was published. I love that it made me feel good at a really bad time.
Click on the damn thing as much as you want. For whatever reason, it hovers near the top of the Google search. If I weren't so worried about being judged, I might think that people might like it a little.

I love that the title of this entry is "stop." Haha. I tried to help. :(
jason -- your unsmiley face made me sad. thank you for helping. you are awesome for doing that. my evil plan didn't work.
i think i didn't change the title of the post because, as i wrote the post, i concluded that the reason people should stop doing me this favor is not because it's not working. you (and i) should stop because it's my story and i like it and i don't want to hide stuff because people might judge.
i hope i took your sad face too seriously, but if i didn't, i hope that what i said here makes sense. i really do appreciate your clicking. and i did mention that people should click on my decomP story and I hope that got you a few hits. :-)
so, david -- you know how i'm trying to fly under the radar and not have my name on here? wanna change your comment?!!! i.e. take my full name OUT! (again, i'm a freak, but i'll just go ahead and delete the comment in the next fe minutes. it will be cached by then and i'd rather not have it up long.)
when i google, i have at least 3 entries on the first page, but maybe part of my plan worked.
oops and oy vey. i'm sorry. i was drunk and gearing up for the ufc. i forgot!!! by the by, okkervil river is greatness. the "unless it kicks" song is great to run to, if ever in the mood for such things...
moral: no drunk blog commenting while waiting to watch overgrown men beat the crap out of each other. (i looked up ufc. i am pleased to say i did not know what it was ...). yes, okkervil river is the some good stuff. but i will not break my longstanding rule of only running if being chased.
Yeah, you took my sad face too seriously. :p
hey jason: i figured. it seems like it would take a lot to get to you -- you are a very chill guy. but i am a spazz and if i think there's the slightest possibility that i've alienated or irritated someone, i get all middle-childy and apologetic. sorry for being sorry. :-)
on another note, i told barry to demand that someone take him to primanti brothers when he's in pittsburgh. can you not see him loving that place?! i hereby charge you with making it happen ... and maybe have a moment of silence or toast me with your cole slaw and french fries-laden sandwiches. (anyone reading this who mocks has clearly not tried one). have fun!!
Primanti Bros. is excellent. I'll see what I can do. :)
primanti brothers -- just one thing i miss about pittsburgh. i miss many things about it -- though NOT the humidity in summer.
it's been awhile but some great things I miss are deborah and joe (who don't read this but are my best friends there), squirrel hill, the south side, silky's, an italian restaurant in shadyside whose name i forget, the carnegie library, schenley park, the cathedral of learning, the house in highland park where my dad grew up ... i almost forgot the fries at the O!! i think a visit is in order. when summer is over.
